How Can A Person With Poor Credit Rebuild Or Repair Their Credit When They Are Being Denied Loans?
I have “poor” credit and am looking to build it back, pay off a few accounts and start fresh again, but no one will take a chance on a person such as myself. What should I do?

The one thing that I would advise is to pay your bills on time and then start to pay of the most current debt you have. Paying of the current debt is more beneficial in raising your credit score than paying off debt that has been their for a couple of years.

If you build credit early, it will be there to access during your starving college years, when you may need it most.
I would recommend 2 things: 1) a very low cost credit repair program to try to have the negative items removed. 2) I would add a tradeline program to boost your score quickly (60 days or quite possibly less). A friend in California used this and got a 120 point bump from 560 to 680.
