If your card was used without your knowledge, you need to file a police report.
It may be that if you had not filed a police report and furnished a copy of it to the credit card company, they are not believing you when you say it was used fraudulently.
More than likely they feel that either you had used it or that you had allowed a friend/family member to use it and that you now just do not want to pay. (nothing against you, some people do try that tactic)
You should file the report with the police and send a copy of the report to the creditor.
If it was someone you know that used it, they will probably be investigated and may also be charged for ID theft and for the theft of whatever they used the card for.
If you don’t want that person to be charged, then the only thing you can really do is pay the bill for what they charged and then ask the person to reimburse you, if they will.

If they know it’s real fraud, why would they do that? You must have given them some reason to suspect that you are the one trying to commit the fraud…assuming you aren’t, ask to arbitrate the decision.

Most credit card agreements have provisions that allow either party to submit any dispute to binding arbitration.
In the unlikely event that yours does not, then you can sue them.

You provide no details, so no one here can answer.
